U-Visa

The U-Visa is for people who have been victims of a serious crime   such as domestic violence, sexual assault, robbery, or human trafficking  and have been hurt physically or emotionally as a result. The evaluation documents the impact those experiences have had on your mental health. It shows that you were genuinely harmed and that you cooperated  or are willing to cooperate — with law enforcement. This report is an important part of your U-Visa application.
