My name is Vivian Fajardo and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), specializing in mental health evaluations and immigration evaluations. I speak Spanish and English. My focus is on:

  • Recognizing and addressing the potential impact of past trauma or adversity on the applicant's mental health and well-being.

HOW LONG DO IMMIGRATION EVALUATIONS TAKE?

2 Sessions- 1 hour to 3 hours

I already have an attorney for my immigration case. Do I need your help, too?

Immigration evaluations conducted by mental health professionals can provide valuable documentation and support for certain immigration-related matters.

Will an immigration evaluation help me win my case?

An immigration evaluation conducted by a qualified mental health professional can provide valuable documentation and support for certain immigration cases, but it does not guarantee a successful outcome on its own. The effectiveness of an immigration evaluation depends on various factors, including the specifics of your case, the strength of the evidence presented, and the legal arguments made by your attorney.

How do we get started?

Why are immigration evaluations useful?

Immigration evaluations are valuable for documenting mental health status, supporting various immigration cases, corroborating trauma experiences and assessing hardships. They play a crucial role in providing objective insight into individuals' mental well-being within immigration proceedings, contributing to fair adjudication and ensuring appropriate support for applicants.

How do immigration evaluations work?

Why are immigration evaluations useful?

Immigration evaluations involve a comprehensive assessment by a mental health professional to evaluate an individual's psychological well-being for immigration purposes. The process includes initial consultations, data collection through interviews and assessments, consideration of cultural factors, and gathering collateral information. A detailed report is then prepared with findings and recommendations, which is submitted to support the individual's immigration case.
